Friends of Culver

You know, a kind word can just make another person’s day! I always like to tell someone if I think they look nice, or they have done a good job on a project, or to pass along a compliment I have heard from someone else. It is so nice when I receive nice notes from all of you and I thought it would be nice to share some of them with you! They always cheer me up and I thank you all for sending them!

Aloha, Sherrill

dear Sherrill. Your webpage was a special treat from a fabulous photo of you to your mother’s page and elegant writing to the other local photos. You have expresse all the words and thoughts of your Hawaaiian mantras in the composition of your webpage. Right On. Bob ps Stewart wrote me the nicest thank you noteand said at the end”Bob, you assembled an elaborate time machine and crew (my wife) to transport us back to our teenage years. And it worked” He also shared in the costs generously. I had not known him during the years there but know he was a very sincere person (Co Commander of B Co.) he lives near by in West Chester about an hour away. Thanks again. Come East and let us reciprocate. Bob

    Hi Sherrill,
Yes, it has been a very unusual summer. The blessing in the rain is that it hasn’t been very hot. However, all the lakes are over capacity and just the tiniest bit of rain causes flooding. Thank you for finding a place for September for me, as always, I enjoy being able to work with you.
    Have a wonderful day!
    Pamela

This is the “official” request for us to be able to rent the Esser Lake
House/Cottage for July 11-17, 2008. We very much enjoy and appreciate
our time there. It is a wonderful way to reconnect and renew and
    rejuvenate ourselves.

SHERRILL, I AGREE THAT CULVER IS A PRETTY SPECIAL PLACE. IT SEEMS THAT IT HAS A MAGNETISM THAT ALWAYS DRAWS US BACK. PERHAPS IT IS BECAUSE IT GAVE US A WONDERFUL CHILDHOOD AND A MARVELOUS FUTURE. LISA CAME “HOME” THE OTHER DAY AND BEST SAID IT ‘CULVER IS LIKE A WARM COMFORTER ON A COLD DAY” BONNIE
